How many nights is the room dark?
Replacing a tub means demolition, plumbing, tile and cure time, and the room next door often goes out with it. Refinishing takes one night per bathroom, which is Safe Step's own published figure.

Why the company exists
In the summer of 2000, the four-year-old daughter of Safe Step's founders, Mark and Suzanne, slipped on a hotel's tile pool deck. She was not injured. The hotel's manager told Mark there were no high-quality methods for improving slip resistance. After a year of trial and error he had built one: the Safe Step Paint Free Process, paint free and odor free, engineered to raise the coefficient of friction on the surfaces guests stand on wet.
Twenty-five years later it runs in over 10,000 hotel bathrooms a month, from the same Burnsville, Minnesota headquarters where every project manager and technician trains.
