Kitchens Are What We Do Most

One Trip From Idea to Exact Slab

Plan your kitchen, walk the slab racks, and make your purchase in one visit. No bouncing between a store, a distributor, and a slab yard.

Since 1997 we have fabricated kitchen countertops for Northland homeowners, custom builders, and remodelers. Granite, quartz, marble, quartzite, or soapstone: if it belongs in a kitchen, it is on our racks and cut in our facility.

  • Pick your exact slab in person
  • CNC-machined cuts, edges, and openings
  • Installed by Granite Works employees, not subs
  • Undermount sinks available in the showroom

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a kitchen countertop project take?
Because fabrication happens in our own Duluth facility, we control the schedule from template to install. Most kitchens move quickly once the slab is chosen and templated; we will give you a real timeline with your quote, not a guess.
Do I pick the actual slab for my kitchen?
Yes. You walk our racks and tag the exact slab for your kitchen, so the color and movement you fell in love with is exactly what gets installed.
Can you cut for undermount sinks and cooktops?
Yes. Sink, faucet, and cooktop openings are CNC-machined in our facility for a precise fit, and we carry undermount sinks in the showroom so you can pair one with your stone in the same trip.
Will I see the seams?
Seam placement is planned at templating and cut by machine. Customers regularly tell us they cannot find the seam on their bar tops and islands. We plan them to be as invisible as the stone allows.
What edge profiles can I choose?
From a clean eased edge to full bullnose and ogee profiles, edges are machined in-house. Bring a photo of the look you want and we will match it, or pick from samples in the showroom.
