About Savvy Systems

The honest crew behind the wildcat.

Savvy Systems is Tyler Whipple and his crew: Mesa-raised, 20-plus years in Valley attics, and allergic to the hard sell. We started in 2017 to do air conditioning without the commission games.

The guy in the van grew up down the street

Savvy Systems is Tyler Whipple and his crew. Tyler was raised in Mesa and has spent more than twenty years working on Arizona air conditioners, a lot of that time for the Valley's biggest HVAC companies. He learned the trade inside and out, and he also learned how the commission game works from the inside. He did not love watching good technicians get pushed to sell instead of solve, so in 2017 he and Ricky started Savvy to do it differently.

When Tyler says "your smart, local air conditioning team," local is not a marketing word. It is where his kids go to school and where he has built his reputation one honest job at a time.

Why we do it differently

Plenty of companies can fix an air conditioner. What sets Savvy apart is how we treat you while we are in your home:

  • No commission. Nobody on our team earns a cut of what you spend, so nobody has a reason to upsell you. That one fact changes every conversation.
  • The free Savvy 2nd Opinion. Got a big replacement quote from another company? Let Tyler look before you sign. It is free, and if the other company was right, we will say so.
  • Photos and plain English. You see what we see and hear it explained without the jargon or the scare tactics.
  • Repair first. We fix what can be fixed. When replacement genuinely makes more sense, we show you the evidence and let you decide on your own schedule.

Quarter-midget cart racing, a Whipple family tradition
Weekends: racing quarter-midget carts, a family tradition

Family, roots, and a fair day's work

Tyler is a Valley guy through and through. Weekends, you will find him racing quarter-midget carts with his son, the same way he did with his dad growing up. That sense of family carries into the business. The crew treats your home the way they would want their own treated, cleans up after the work, and stands behind what they do. When you call Savvy, you are not a ticket number in another state. You are a neighbor.

Things people ask before they call.

Tyler, the owner, or a technician he trained and trusts, never a random name off a dispatch board you have never dealt with. We keep the team small on purpose so the quality stays consistent.
