Industry certifications are not a plus if you are choosing a contractor for safe, effective, code-compliant work. They are a requirement. Here is exactly what each of ours covers, so your engineering and procurement teams can verify it directly.
Each certification below covers a distinct scope of work. None of them are blanket claims.
Scope: providing general contractor, industrial maintenance, pre-construction, and construction management services for the industrial, commercial, and institutional communities throughout the Midwest. Audited annually.
American Society of Mechanical Engineers certification covering the assembly of power boilers to code, field and shop.
ASME certification covering fabrication and assembly of pressure piping, the scope behind our in-house pipe spool shop.
National Board Inspection Code certification for boiler and pressure vessel inspectors, covering repair and alteration of metallic pressure-retaining items.
An internal safety program with employee stop-work authority, audited through multi-level project inspections. Full detail on the Safety page.
Not a certification body, but the track record that makes the certifications above credible: the same company, the same standard, for over a century.
Lakehead Constructors has also won industry recognition beyond its formal certifications.

We will send current ISO, ASME, and NBIC documentation directly to your procurement or EHS team.
