Home / Safety

Nobody gets hurt. That is the whole goal.

It is the company's goal and expectation that no one suffers an injury in the execution of our work. Safety is the first and most important of our four founding pillars, and it comes with real authority on every site we run.

Zero Injury Program

Three rules, no exceptions

Every employee is empowered to follow three fundamental guidelines. No sign-offs, no hesitation, no waiting for a supervisor to notice.

  • Conduct all work in a safe mannerThe baseline expectation on every task, every day.
  • Stop work immediately to correct any unsafe conditionAny employee can halt work the moment something looks wrong.
  • Take corrective action so work may proceed safelyThe stop is temporary. The fix happens before the work resumes.

How We Enforce It

Programs that back up the philosophy

We constantly engage in supportive programs and active processes to promote and ensure compliance with the Zero Injury Program, backed by a Labor/Management Safety Committee dedicated to the same principles.

Audits & Inspections

Multi-level project audits

Regular, structured inspections at every level of a project, not a once-a-quarter checklist.

Incident Response

Immediate investigation

Every accident or incident gets investigated right away, not logged for a later review cycle.

Training

Supervisor development

In-depth supervisor training and ongoing development programs, plus employee orientation on every new site.

Recognition

Performance-based safety awards

Recognition and award programs that make staying safe a visible incentive, not just an obligation.

Prevention

Substance abuse programs

Comprehensive substance abuse programs run across every office and every crew.

Committee

Labor/Management Safety Committee

A standing committee that keeps labor and management aligned on safety principles across every project.
