Adult Ballet
Barre, centre and the vocabulary you either half remember or never learned. Slow enough to actually get it, real enough to feel like ballet.
Dance is not only for the kids in the car. Adult ballet, tap and jazz, twirling and fitness classes for grown-ups who danced once, or who never got the chance and always wondered what it would have been like.

Adults welcome
The single thing that stops adults walking through the door is the belief that everyone else in the room will be better. In our adult classes, they will not be.
Some of our adult dancers took class as kids and stopped at fourteen. Some have never danced at all and signed up the week after dropping their daughter off. A few are parents who spent a decade in the waiting room and finally got tired of watching.
There is no recital requirement, no costume, and nobody is going to put you in the front row. Come in leggings, stand at the back, and see how it goes.
Adult offerings shift by season based on who signs up. If the class you want is not running, tell us. Enough interest and we schedule it.

The most fun you can have being bad at something. Rhythm work that is genuinely hard and genuinely joyful, no performance required.
Across-the-floor work and a combination that changes through the season. Good for anyone who misses moving to music with other people.
Baton twirling, one of the things Sterling Silver has taught longest. Showmanship, coordination and a skill almost nobody else offers here.
Dance-based conditioning built on the same principles we teach the dancers. Strength, mobility and no mirrors-and-shouting culture.
Life happens. Several adult classes take drop-ins, so a missed week is a missed week and not a wasted term.

Baton twirling has been on our floor since the early years and there are very few places left in the Twin Ports that teach it properly. We run it for youth and adults both.
It is genuinely difficult, it looks spectacular when it works, and it is the class most likely to surprise someone who came in for ballet.
The free trial is not just for the kids. Take one adult class on us and find out whether the thing you have been thinking about for years is actually for you.
