We file it. You drive.
Most people have never filed a glass claim and are not sure whether it counts against them. We check your coverage before any work starts, handle the claim with your carrier, and tell you exactly what you owe.
Lane systems see through your windshieldWhen you call a glass claim in, some carriers route you straight to a network shop and make it sound like the only option. It is not. You choose who works on your vehicle, and the carrier covers the work regardless.
That matters more than it used to. A modern windshield is a structural part carrying the cameras for your lane keeping and automatic braking. Whoever installs it decides whether those systems work correctly afterward. That is not a decision worth handing to whoever a call center routes you to.
Before any work starts, we look at what your policy covers and what your glass deductible actually is.
If your deductible is higher than the job, we will say so. Paying us directly is sometimes the cheaper answer.
We file with your carrier so you are not sitting on hold repeating your policy number.
We bill the insurer for the covered portion. You handle your deductible and nothing else.
ADAS recalibration documented, which carriers increasingly ask for and most shops forget.
Many policies cover chip repair outright. We check that before quoting you a replacement.
New glass with quality materials, proper cure time, and in-house recalibration.
Learn MoreRock chip and crack repair that keeps your factory seal, usually in about an hour.
Learn MoreSafety camera recalibration done in-house, the same visit as your glass work.
Learn MoreBack glass, semis, farm and construction equipment, fleets, and classics.
Learn MoreNo. You choose who works on your vehicle. A carrier can recommend a shop, and many will steer you toward a network partner, but the decision is yours and the claim is covered either way.
Comprehensive glass claims are generally treated differently from at-fault collision claims. Carriers and states vary though, so the honest answer is to ask your agent before you file. We will never tell you a claim is consequence-free when we cannot see your policy.
Often, but not always. Many comprehensive policies waive the deductible on a chip repair because it is far cheaper than the replacement it prevents. It is worth asking every single time, and we will ask for you.
Some policies carry a separate, lower deductible for glass than for other comprehensive claims. Others apply the full comprehensive deductible. Which one you have is the single biggest factor in what a windshield costs you.
Then you pay us directly and we quote it straight before we touch anything. No claim, no network pricing games, no surprise line items at pickup.
We do. Bring your policy information and we will take it from there, including the recalibration documentation your carrier may ask for.
From Belknap Street to both sides of the harbor, this is home. Tell us what happened and where the vehicle sits, and a real person from the Superior shop will get back to you with a straight answer, usually the same business day.
