The challenge

Advantage Air does plumbing, heating, and cooling across the Twin Ports, and wanted a digital presence that actually generated leads, not just looked good.

What we did

  • Built a new, conversion focused website loaded with trust factors to turn visitors into customers.
  • Ran an aggressive SEO strategy tailored to the plumbing and HVAC industry.
  • Launched targeted Google Ads and Local Services Ads to maximize visibility.
  • Layered in automation to keep customer follow up consistent and efficient.

What happened

Over six months the combined engine produced 2,491 leads, made up of 2,294 tracked calls and 197 form submissions, alongside a 38 percent year over year lift in organic search clicks.

Why the four pieces ran together

Most contractors buy these one at a time, and there is a reason for that: each one is easier to justify on its own. The trouble is that they fail on their own too. A site that converts well still needs someone to arrive on it. Search brings people who are already looking, but not the ones who need the job done this afternoon. Paid reaches those people immediately and stops the moment the budget does. Local Service Ads sit above everything in the map area and answer to Google review signals rather than to bid alone.

Run separately, each one carries the whole weight and each one looks disappointing. Run together, the site converts what search and paid deliver, and the automation makes sure a lead that came in at seven in the evening still gets a reply. That is what the 2,491 figure is measuring: the whole engine over six months, not one channel taking credit for the others.

What we would check before promising you the same

Numbers from someone else's market are a starting point for a conversation, not a forecast. Advantage Air works a specific two state metro across Minnesota and Wisconsin, with its own seasonality, its own competitor set and its own search volume. Before quoting anything we would look at three things: whether your current site converts the traffic it already gets, what your service radius actually supports in search volume, and whether your Google profile can carry Local Service Ads yet.

If the site cannot convert, more traffic is the most expensive mistake available. If the volume is not there, paid is the honest answer for a while. We would rather tell you that early than sell you a plan that needs a bigger market than you have.

How the six months ran

Four workstreams, run together rather than in sequence. The website landed first because everything downstream converts through it.

What contractors ask about this one

Q.01What counts as a lead here?

Tracked phone calls and submitted forms. Over the six month window that was 2,294 calls and 197 forms. Calls are measured through call tracking, forms through attribution on the site.

Q.02How long before it looked like this?

The figures cover a six month window with the full engine running: the website, SEO, Google Ads and Local Service Ads together. Paid carried the front end while the organic side matured underneath it.

Q.03Was this paid or organic?

Both, deliberately. Organic search clicks rose 38 percent year over year while paid and Local Service Ads covered demand the organic pages could not yet reach.

Q.04Do you do this for every client?

This was the full engine. Plenty of contractors start with one piece, usually the site or search, and add the rest as it earns its place. What fits depends on your trade and your season.

Q.05Would it work in a different market?

The approach transfers, the numbers do not. Advantage Air operates in a specific two state metro with its own competition and seasonality. We would pull your numbers before predicting anything.

Q.06What would you look at for us first?

Whether your current site can convert what it already receives. Sending more traffic to a page that does not book jobs is the most expensive mistake in this business.
